The Ark Community Church Sermons

The Ark Community Church is a nondenominational, Bible based Christian church. Our name The Ark speaks of our faith in God's many promises found through His words in the Bible and of our relationship with Him. It also represents our belief in caring for all of God's creation. We call ourselves a community church because we believe in coming together as a community and reaching out to help the Western New York communities where we reside.

Leaves: Letting your true nature be seen.

What keeps our true nature from being seen? Genesis tells us that we were created in the image of God but our sinful nature covers that image. However, there is hope for us and that is through Jesus Christ. Just as leaves die in fall and their true color is seen we too can let our worldly self die and have God's image, our nature be seen.

In God We Trust

Is it right to as Christians to speak up and say in America "In God We Trust"? What if we don't? What if America doesn't? Waht if I as a Christian don't place my trust in God? We can learn from Moses and the Israelites in Deuteronomy what may happen when we as Christians and as a nation place our trust in ourselves.
